Pakistan Football Federation (PFF) Announces Squad for FIFA World Cup 2026 Qualifiers against Jordan

The Pakistan Football Federation (PFF) has announced the final squad for the upcoming FIFA World Cup 2026 Qualifier Round 2 matches against Jordan. The first match will take place at Jinnah Stadium in Islamabad on 21st March, followed by an away game in Jordan on 26th March. In light of this, the week-long training camp initially planned for Lahore will now be shifted to Islamabad starting today (Sunday).

The squad includes a mix of goalkeepers, defenders, midfielders, and forwards. The goalkeeping department will be handled by Yousuf Butt, Saqib Hanif, Abdul Basit, and Hassan Ali. The defensive line will feature Easah Suliman, Abdullah Iqbal, Mamoon Musa, Haseeb Khan, Mohammad Saddam, Mohammad Sohail, Omer Rao, Mohammad Fazal, and Mohammad Adeel. The midfield will be marshaled by Rahis Nabi, Harun Hamid, Alamgir Ghazi, Rajab Ali, Ali Uzair, Shayek Dost, and Abdul Samad. The attacking lineup comprises Fareed Ullah, Waleed Khan, Imran Kayani, and Adeel Younis.

Additionally, Diaspora (D) players are expected to join the squad early Monday to bring valuable experience and skills to the team. The selection of the squad was a result of meticulous consideration and assessment by the coaching staff to ensure the best possible chance of success in the upcoming crucial matches against Jordan.
