Sydney FC has bolstered its attack by signing former Celtic striker and Poland youth international Patryk Klimala on loan from Śląsk Wroclaw.
The 26-year-old arrives ahead of the 2024-25 A-League season, with the Sky Blues holding an option to make the move permanent.
Klimala, who flourished in MLS with New York Red Bulls, was identified as Sydney’s top transfer target, according to head coach Ufuk Talay.
Klimala is set to push for minutes in the AFC Champions League 2 campaign, which starts on September 19.
