Yahya Golmohammadi appointed as head coach of Foolad football team

Yahya Golmohammadi, the former head coach of Persepolis, has been appointed as the new head coach of Foolad football team. Golmohammadi, who left Persepolis in January, signed a two-year contract with the Ahvaz-based club, taking over from Abdollah Veisi.

During his tenure at Persepolis, Golmohammadi achieved significant success, guiding the team to three Persian Gulf Pro League titles and one Hazfi Cup. Additionally, he led Persepolis to the final of the 2020 AFC Champions League, where they narrowly lost 2-1 to South Korean side Ulsan Hyundai.
