Esteghlal Held to 2-2 Draw by Mes Rafsanjan in PGPL Match

Esteghlal football team faced Mes Rafsanjan in a 2-2 draw during the 2023/24 Iran’s Persian Gulf Pro League match on Saturday at Tehran’s Azadi Stadium. Sajad Shahbazzadeh struck early for Mes, scoring in just three minutes, but Gustavo Blanco equalized in the 16th minute. The second half saw Saeid Vasei regain Mes’s lead only one minute in, swiftly matched by Blanco scoring his second of the night just four minutes later for the PGPL leaders.

Meanwhile, in other PGPL action, Malavan secured a 1-0 victory over struggling Nassaji in Ghaemshahr, while Shams Azar triumphed 2-0 against Zob Ahan in Isfahan.
