SLNA Requests Reconsideration of Offside Goal Decision and VAR Technology in V-League

SLNA suffered a heartbreaking loss at Vinh Stadium against Nam Dinh, conceding a goal in the 90+5 minute by To Van Vu. The home team was left questioning the validity of the goal, believing an offside call was missed earlier in the play. In response, SLNA promptly filed an official request to VFF and VPF to review the situation and provide a written response.

Seeking to address the issue, SLNA urged the Vietnam Professional Football Joint Stock Company to enhance the quality of video recordings, television broadcasts, referee performance, and the utilization of VAR technology in the V-League. The objective is to elevate the overall match quality and the viewing experience for fans nationwide.

While acknowledging and respecting the final decisions made by referees, SLNA emphasized the importance of ensuring fairness and accuracy in key decisions made by match officials and VAR. They expressed hope that VFF, VPF, and the tournament organizing committee would prioritize these aspects for the betterment of Vietnamese football and the equitable treatment of all clubs in the V-League.

It is clear that SLNA is intent on holding the relevant authorities accountable for maintaining high standards in officiating and video technology to uphold the integrity of the sport and ensure a level playing field for all teams. Moving forward, they are committed to advocating for improvements that benefit the entire footballing community in Vietnam.

By voicing their concerns and advocating for enhancements, SLNA is actively contributing to the discourse surrounding the quality of refereeing and technology in Vietnamese football. Their actions underscore a commitment to fairness, transparency, and the continuous improvement of the sport at both the domestic and national levels.
