Goalkeeper Bui Tan Truong Joins Binh Phuoc Club – Reunites with Nguyen Anh Duc in Pursuit of V-League Promotion

Hanoi FC bid farewell to longtime goalkeeper Bui Tan Truong as he looks forward to a new chapter in his career. Recently, Truong Tuoi Binh Phuoc Club announced the signing of the 38-year-old goalkeeper on a 1.5-year contract, marking his transition to the National First Division.

Reuniting with his friend Nguyen Anh Duc at Binh Phuoc Stadium, Bui Tan Truong aims to bolster the team’s performance under the guidance of the former Vietnamese striker, who took over as coach in September 2023. Joining the club alongside current goalkeeper Doan Huy Hoang, Truong’s experience promises to enhance competition within the team while providing valuable mentorship to the young shot-stopper born in 2003.

Currently positioned 7th in the 2024 National First Division standings after 10 matches, Binh Phuoc Club endured a narrow 0-1 loss against Hue in the previous round. With a brief break before their upcoming fixture against Dong Thap on March 9, Coach Nguyen Anh Duc’s squad aims to bounce back and climb the league ladder as they pursue a spot in the V-League.

This move signifies a significant shift for Bui Tan Truong as he embarks on a new journey with Binh Phuoc Club, where he seeks to make a lasting impact on the team’s performance while also benefiting from the opportunity to impart his wisdom to the next generation of goalkeepers. Stay tuned for more updates on Truong’s progress as he navigates this exciting phase of his football career.
