Jordanian Football Association Releases Match Schedule for Professional League Weeks 15 and 16
On Thursday, the Jordanian Football Association released the match schedule for weeks 15 and 16 of the professional league. The schedule for the remaining weeks of the Professional League and the Jordan Cup will be provided after the Olympic team’s participation in the Asian Cup finals for the 2024 Paris Olympics. Local competitions in Jordan will pause after the completion of round 14 to prepare the first team for upcoming matches against Pakistan on March 21 and 26 in the 2026 World Cup and 2027 Asian Cup joint qualifiers.
The Jordanian fans can anticipate two crucial matches in the local league during the 15th and 16th rounds. The first match will feature a showdown between Al-Wahdat and Al-Faisaly at Amman Stadium, followed by another significant matchup between Al-Wahdat and Al-Hussein Irbid during the month of Ramadan. Al-Hussein Irbid leads the Jordanian League standings with 37 points, maintaining a 7-point lead over Al-Faisaly, its closest competitor. Al-Wahdat currently holds the third position in the local championship table with 28 points after 13 rounds.
