Port grabs 1-0 victory over Sukothai in Thai League 1 game

Port FC secured a much-needed victory on Tuesday night, ending their three-game winless streak with a 1-0 win over Sukhothai in Thai League 1. The decisive goal came in the 40th minute when Pathompol Charoenrattanapirom capitalized on a Jaturapat Satthum cross to slot home from close range.

Assistant coach Choketawee Promrat emphasized the significance of the win, describing it as a crucial three points for the team. Despite facing numerous injuries and suspensions, Port managed to grind out the result, acknowledging that they were fortunate to convert their chances.

Over at PT Prachuap, the Brazilian duo of Derley and Samuel Rosa played pivotal roles in their team’s 2-1 triumph against Trat. Despite going down to 10 men early in the game due to Pawee Tanthatemee’s red card, Prachuap displayed resilience and determination.

Derley wasted no time in giving Prachuap the lead just three minutes after the sending off, with Samuel Rosa doubling their advantage at the half-hour mark. Trat managed to pull a goal back through Daizo Horikoshi shortly after, but their attempts to equalize fell short as Prachuap held on for the win.

Trat’s troubles were compounded when Chiraphong Raksongkham received his second yellow card late in the match, reducing them to 10 men as well. Despite their numerical disadvantage, Prachuap showcased their tenacity and emerged victorious, further solidifying their position in the league standings.
