CAHN boosts manpower for Kiatisuk after 2 consecutive losses

CAHN Appoints Pham Thanh Luong as Assistant Coach after Two Consecutive Losses

Before stepping back in favor of the FIFA Days series in March, CAHN suffered a setback with two consecutive losses to The Cong Viettel in the V-League and the National Cup. This derailed their bid to challenge Nam Dinh for the top spot and crushed their hopes of silverware in either competition.

In response to their concerning form, the CAHN Board of Directors took action to bolster the team. They made a significant addition to the coaching staff by bringing in former Vietnam Golden Ball winner Pham Thanh Luong. The seasoned player-turned-coach will now serve as an assistant to Captain Kiatisuk Senamuang, providing valuable support and guidance to the squad.

The move was announced via the club’s official Fanpage, where CAHN expressed their excitement over the new appointment. Pham Thanh Luong’s arrival is seen as a positive development for the team, given his extensive experience and success both at the club level and with the national team. Notably, he played a pivotal role in Vietnam’s triumph at the 2008 AFF Suzuki Cup.

Before assuming his new role with CAHN, Pham Thanh Luong had previously led Hoa Binh Club in the First Division. His wealth of knowledge and expertise is expected to complement Coach Kiatisuk’s leadership and help elevate the team’s performance moving forward.

This strategic decision to bring in Pham Thanh Luong reflects CAHN’s commitment to addressing their recent struggles on the pitch. With his addition to the coaching staff, the team hopes to turn their fortunes around and regain momentum in their pursuit of success in the ongoing competitions.

As the club navigates through a challenging period, the appointment of Pham Thanh Luong signals a proactive approach to overcoming obstacles and striving for excellence. The players and fans alike will be eagerly anticipating the positive impact that the new assistant coach can bring to the team in the upcoming fixtures.
