Al-Hussein Team Continues to Lead Jordanian Professional League

Al-Hussein maintained their position at the top of the Jordanian Professional League standings with a resounding 5-0 victory over Ramtha in the fourteenth round of the competition. The match saw a total of 17 goals scored, with Mahmoud Mardi netting a brace in the 5th and 45th minutes, Abdel Aziz Inday also scoring twice in the 8th and 61st minutes, and Saif El-Din Darwish adding a goal in the 68th minute. The referee was forced to end the match in the 78th minute due to Ramtha having fewer than 7 players on the field.

In other matches from the round, Al-Salt emerged victorious over Shabab Al-Urdun with a 2-1 scoreline. Ahmed Sabra opened the scoring for the visitors in the 41st minute, but the hosts responded through Abdullah Theeb in the 56th minute and Muhammad Zureikat in the 61st minute. Al-Ahly secured a 1-0 win against Sahab, courtesy of Maher Al-Shehri’s goal in the 20th minute, while Shabab Al-Aqaba played out a goalless draw with Al-Jalil.

Al-Wahdat claimed a 2-1 victory over Mughir Al-Sarhan, with Shawqi Al-Qazaa finding the net in the 43rd minute and Bernard-Henri adding another goal in the 73rd minute. Muhammad Abu Dahab scored the lone goal for the visitors in the 61st minute. Al-Faisaly dominated their match against Ma’an, winning by a commanding 5-0 margin. Goals from Youssef Abu Jalbush (11th minute), Ronald Wanga (47th and 58th minutes), Arif Al-Hajj (72nd minute), and Bakr Kalbouneh (90th minute) sealed the comprehensive victory.

With the latest results, Al-Hussein leads the league standings with 40 points, followed by Al-Faisaly with 33 points and Al-Wahdat with 31 points. Ramtha and Shabab Al-Aqaba have 19 points each, while Shabab Al-Urdun and Mughir Al-Sarhan are on 16 points. Ma’an and Al-Salt have 14 and 13 points respectively, while Al-Ahly, Al-Jalil, and Sahab are on 12, 11, and 9 points respectively.
