Launch of ASEAN Mitsubishi Electric Cup™ 2024 Logo and Brand Identity
The ASEAN Mitsubishi Electric Cup™ 2024 has been officially announced with a new logo and brand identity by the AFF and Mitsubishi Electric. The event, previously known as the AFF Mitsubishi Electric Cup, will see ten ASEAN national teams competing from 23 November to 21 December for the Championship title.
The newly unveiled logo features the ASEAN Championship trophy, the Mitsubishi Electric Cup™, the AFF Unity Weave, and the event title within a shield design. The Unity Weave, representing the unity of the twelve AFF Member Associations, is depicted with an intersecting pattern of rice bushels in the shared colors of ASEAN nations.
Mitsubishi Electric, the title sponsor, expressed their commitment to enriching communities through the event and building a better future together. The new logo aims to give the event a distinct visual identity that reflects the passion and vibrance of ASEAN football fans.
President of AFF, Maj. Gen. Khiev Sameth, acknowledged Mitsubishi Electric’s integral support for the event’s success and expressed gratitude for their continued partnership. He highlighted the collective efforts of Mitsubishi Electric, Commercial Partners, SPORTFIVE, and Member Associations in providing fans with an unforgettable experience during the ASEAN Mitsubishi Electric Cup™.
The biennial tournament, which began in 1996, has seen significant growth with each edition, attracting a record 438+ million viewers in 2022. The official draw for the event is set to take place in Hanoi, Vietnam on May 21st.
The ASEAN Mitsubishi Electric Cup™ 2024 promises to be a celebration of ASEAN football with fierce competition and a showcase of unity among the participating nations. Stay tuned for more updates on this exciting event!
