Al-Riffa Tops Bahraini League 1 Table with Victory over Sitra

Al-Riffa claimed the top spot in the Bahraini Nasser Premier League championship standings following a 1-0 victory over Sitra at Ali bin Mohammed Al Khalifa Stadium. The decisive goal came from Aziz Khalid in the 76th minute of the match.

This win propelled Al-Riffa to 25 points, establishing a two-point lead over second-place Al-Khalidiya. Meanwhile, Sitra remained at 13 points, occupying the ninth spot in the league table.

Coach Hisham Al-Mahouzi fielded the following lineup for Al-Riffa: Abdullah Ali Ifrih, Hamad Al-Shamsan, Lazar Dukovic, Hussein Al-Aker, Ali Haram, Jassim Al-Sheikh, Hazza Ali, Ali Hassan Saeed, Kamil Al-Aswad, Vinicius Vargas, and Carlos Alberto “Jaco”.

It is important to note that Al-Riffa still has one more postponed match to play against Al-Najma.
