Meet the Managers of K League 2 2024: Who Are They?

With only one automatic promotion spot in the K League 2 up for grabs, the competition is fierce among the managers in the second tier who believe their teams are capable of achieving success. The 2024 season sees five new managers taking charge of different teams, while some are embarking on their first significant managerial roles.

Gyeongnam FC has brought in Park Dong-hyuk to lead the team following the departure of Seol Ki-hyeon. Park, who previously managed Chungnam Asan, boasts an impressive track record, including guiding Asan to the K League 2 title in 2018.

Cheonan City has chosen Kim Tae-wan, a seasoned manager with experience at Sangju and Gimcheon, to take charge of the team in their second K League season.

Suwon Samsung Bluewings has appointed Yeom Ki-hun as their new manager after a caretaker stint towards the end of the previous season. Yeom, a club legend, will look to steer the team towards a successful campaign in the upcoming season.
