The 2024 J League season kicked off on the 23rd at the new Edion Peace Wing Hiroshima stadium, with Sanfrecce Hiroshima taking on Urawa Reds. It was a highly anticipated match between two championship contenders, and Hiroshima’s new forward, Yuki Ohashi, stole the show by scoring two goals in his debut at the new stadium.
