Giravanz Kitakyushu Transfer Update for 2024 Season

Giravanz Kitakyushu has been active in the transfer market ahead of the J3 League 2024 season, making several key additions and seeing some departures. In terms of incoming players, Kota Kudo joined on a developmental loan transfer from Urawa Reds as a defender on January 8th. Takahiro Takahashi also made a developmental loan transfer from Gamba Osaka as a forward on December 30th. Goalkeeper Go Ito arrived permanently from Velos Cronos Tsuno on December 29th. Rise Taniguchi joined on a developmental loan transfer from Fagiano Okayama as a goalkeeper on December 27th. Other additions include Sato Kobayashi from Juntendo University, Koki Otani with a complete transfer from Hokkaido Consadole Sapporo, Ryu Nagai from Fagiano Okayama on a permanent transfer, Koji Sugiyama also from Fagiano Okayama, and Asahi Yada from Ehime FC, among others.

However, the team also saw some players leave. Yuki Nakayama’s contract expired with Velos Chronos Tsuno on March 1st, while Ryosuke Hamada retired from active duty on February 8th. Others who departed include Nobuaki Ikedaka with a permanent transfer to Okinawa SV on January 11th, Yusuke Oishi with a permanent transfer to Reinmeer Aomori on January 11th, and Yuki Okada with a permanent transfer to Nara club on December 27th. Additional departures included Kota Muramatsu as his loan transfer period with V. Faren Nagasaki expired on December 22nd, Tatsuyo Nose with a complete transfer to Mito Holy Hock on December 16th, and Daiki Goto as his contract expired with FC Gifu on December 11th.

Overall, Giravanz Kitakyushu has undergone a significant overhaul in their squad ahead of the new season, bringing in fresh talent while saying goodbye to some familiar faces. The team will be looking to build on these changes and strive for success in the upcoming campaign.
