DPMM FC Ready to Kick Off 2024/2025 Singapore Premier League Season
DPMM FC is set to kick off their Singapore Premier League (SPL) 2024/2025 season against Young Lions at the Jalan Besar Stadium on May 11. The team will then go up against Albirex Niigata (S) on May 25 before their first home game against Lion City Sailors on June 15 at the Hassanal Bolkiah National Stadium.
Under new head coach Rui Capela Batista, who took over from Adrian Pennock, DPMM FC has been active in the transfer market. They have brought in young talent like Brazilian Gabriel Gama, Portuguese Miguel Oliveira, and Mexican Julian Cruz. The team has also retained goalkeeper Kristijan Naumovski and defender Farshad Noor.
The Brunei-based club finished seventh in the previous season and will be looking to improve their standings this time around. Their upcoming matches include a home game against Geylang International FC on June 22 and an away fixture against Tanjong Pagar United on June 29.
To prepare for the upcoming season, DPMM FC will engage in a friendly match against Chinese side Guangxi Pingguo Haliao Guojing at the Hassanal Bolkiah National Stadium this Saturday. The team is gearing up for a competitive season ahead as they aim to make their mark in the SPL.
