The “War Elephants U23” faced off against Jordan U23 in the WAFF U23 Championship 2024, ultimately falling 1-3 in a competitive match on Saturday at Al Fateh Stadium in Saudi Arabia. Issara Sritaro’s lineup featured Chukid Wannaprapao as the focal point, supported by Thanadol Khaosa-at and Phat Soimalai.

Thailand seized the lead early on with a stunning free-kick goal by Thanadol Khaosa-at, establishing a 1-0 advantage. However, Jordan swiftly responded, equalizing at 1-1 courtesy of Mohannad Taha in the 32nd minute. Aref Mohammad then put Jordan ahead 2-1 before halftime, setting the stage for a tense second half.
