Coach Park Hang-seo Leads Bac Ninh Club to Victory in Four Heroes Tournament

After stepping down as head coach of the Vietnam national team, Park Hang-seo remains dedicated to the sport in the country, despite tempting offers from other Southeast Asian squads. Thailand, Indonesia, and Singapore were reportedly interested in the Korean coach, but he chose a different path by assuming the role of senior advisor at Second Division Bac Ninh Club. His focus now includes shaping the club’s future, supporting youth development, and implementing international standards.

Bac Ninh Club recently clinched victory in the Four Heroes tournament, emerging triumphant over Viettel with a 2-0 scoreline. The competition saw participation from Bac Ninh alongside youth teams from Viettel, CAHN, and PVF Sports Clubs. Under Park Hang-seo’s guidance, Bac Ninh secured 9 points from three matches, capturing the championship in convincing fashion. Additionally, Nguyen The Thang of Kinh Bac Club received recognition as the tournament’s top goal scorer.

Park Hang-seo was prominently featured alongside Bac Ninh Club’s leadership during the tournament’s opening ceremony, showcasing his close involvement with the team. Looking ahead, coach Ngo Quang Truong and his squad are gearing up for the National Second Division tournament.
