U23 Vietnam Prepares for 2024 U23 Asian Finals with Friendly Matches in Tajikistan

The team, comprising 23 players after midfielder Nguyen Thai Quoc Cuong’s departure due to injury, departed on March 13 for Tajikistan from Vietnam. Head coach Philippe Troussier is focused on the upcoming World Cup Qualifiers against Indonesia, so Assistant Coach Moulay Lahsen is leading the team for these friendlies.

The coaching staff accompanying Lahsen includes Assistant Coach Truong Dinh Luat, goalkeeper coach Ngo Viet Trung, analyst Le Minh Dung, medical and logistics personnel. The team will transit through Dubai before arriving in Tajikistan on March 18, with matches scheduled for March 20 and March 23 at the Republic Central Stadium in Dushanbe.
