New Clubhouse Project for Blaublitz Akita: Creating a Strong Future Together

In 2024, Blaublitz Akita will mark its 15th anniversary, with a rich history dating back to the founding of the TDK Soccer Club in 1965. Despite facing challenges, the club’s passionate supporters have propelled them to success in recent years, culminating in their promotion to the J2 League in 2020 after an unbeaten season in the J3 League.

The journey to the J2 League was not easy, as the club faced obstacles such as the lack of a stadium meeting J2 standards. However, through the efforts of the supporters’ association and the local community, the stadium was renovated to meet requirements, allowing Blaublitz Akita to achieve their dream of playing in a higher division.

As the club looks to the future, they are now focused on improving their training facilities, starting with the construction of a natural grass practice field and a new clubhouse. The lack of proper training facilities has led to injuries and difficulties retaining key players, but with the new facilities, the club aims to create an environment where players can thrive and develop to their full potential.

The construction and maintenance of the clubhouse come with a significant cost, estimated at around 400 million yen. To fund this project, the club has embarked on a crowdfunding campaign, seeking the support of fans and the local community to help create a state-of-the-art facility that will benefit both the team and the region.

The clubhouse will not only serve as a training facility but also as a center for community engagement, with plans to open the cafeteria to local children and operate as an evacuation center in times of disaster. By involving the community in the project, Blaublitz Akita aims to strengthen ties and further integrate the club into the fabric of Akita.

Through the crowdfunding campaign, the club hopes to raise 30 million yen to purchase equipment for the clubhouse, including training gym equipment, medical supplies, and kitchen facilities. The goal is to create an environment where players can excel and the club can continue its upward trajectory towards the J1 League.

As the project moves forward, the support of fans, sponsors, and the local community will be crucial in realizing the vision of a modern clubhouse that symbolizes the growth and ambition of Blaublitz Akita. With everyone’s help, the club is confident in achieving its goals and creating a bright future for soccer in Akita.
