Bangkok United Draws with BG Pathum United in Thai League 1 Game

Bangkok United faced a setback as they drew 2-2 against BG Pathum United, sliding down to third place in Thai League 1. Despite the injuries plaguing the team, coach Totchtawan Sripan commended his players for fighting back from a two-goal deficit to secure the draw. The Angels had to make changes to their starting lineup due to fatigue from a recent AFC Champions League match.

In the match against BG Pathum United, the home team took an early lead with goals from Seydine N’Diaye and Danilo Alves. However, Bangkok United managed to pull one back before halftime through Pokklaw A-Nan, and Wisarut Imura equalized in the second half. The team had chances to secure a win but settled for a draw.

Elsewhere, Chonburi climbed out of the relegation zone with a 3-1 victory over Sukhothai, courtesy of a hat-trick from Willian Lira. Ratchaburi also secured a win on Sunday night, defeating Uthai Thai 1-0 with Jonathan Khemdee scoring the lone goal in the 59th minute.

Despite the drawn result, Bangkok United remains a strong contender in the league, aiming to bounce back from injuries and regain their winning form.
