Al-Wasl continues to dominate the ADNOC Pro League standings, with a commanding lead after a 2-0 win over Emirates Club. Khor Fakkan also secured a 2-0 victory against Hatta, while Shabab Al-Ahli returned to form with a 3-0 win over Ajman.

In other matches, Al-Nasr defeated Al-Jazira 3-2, Al-Wahda came from behind to beat Al-Bataeh 2-1, and Sharjah claimed a 1-0 victory over Ittihad Kalba. Al-Ain secured a hard-fought 1-0 win against Baniyas.

Shabab Al-Ahli’s Igor Jesus stood out as the player of the week, showcasing his talent with a goal and an assist in the win over Ajman. Al-Wahda’s Ahmad Nourollahi scored a stunning goal with an acrobatic scissor kick, while Al-Nasr’s coach Alfred Schreuder earned recognition for his team’s recent performances.

Looking ahead, Al-Ain faces a tough challenge in the AFC Champions League quarterfinals against Al-Nassr. Despite injuries to key players, including Kodjo Fo-Doh Laba, the team is under the guidance of coach Hernan Crespo and has shown progress in recent matches.
