ADNOC Professional League Standings After Week 14 Matches

In the UAE Football League, the results of the fourteenth round brought about significant changes in the standings. Al Wasl emerged victorious against the UAE team with a solid 2-0 scoreline, further solidifying their position at the top of the league with 36 points, while the struggling UAE remained rooted to the bottom with a meager 5 points.

Al-Wasl’s dominance was evident throughout the match, with Fabio De Lima opening the scoring in the 38th minute after a splendid assist from Ali Saleh. Defender Sofiane Bouftini added a second goal with a precise header in the 55th minute, showcasing Al Wasl’s control over the proceedings.

Meanwhile, in another match, Khor Fakkan secured a 2-0 victory over Hatta, with Raniel Santana netting a goal within 12 seconds of kick-off, making it one of the fastest goals in the league’s history. A stunning strike by Aziz Bey Amonov in the 22nd minute sealed the win for Khor Fakkan as they climbed to seventh place with 17 points.

Sharjah also registered a crucial 1-0 win over Ittihad Kalba, courtesy of Caio Lucas’ lone goal in the 29th minute. In a thrilling encounter, Al Nasr emerged triumphant against Al Jazeera with a 3-2 scoreline. Abdullah Troy and Taarabt were among the goalscorers for Al Nasr, with Moussa Ndiaye netting the decisive winner in the 85th minute. The victory propelled Al Nasr to seventh place with 18 points, while Al Jazeera remained in sixth place with 20 points.

In other matches, Shabab Al-Ahly secured a convincing 3-0 win over Ajman, Baniyas suffered a narrow 1-0 defeat against Al Ain, and Al-Wahda clinched a 2-1 victory over Al-Bataeh.

As the dust settles after the fourteenth round, Al Wasl leads the league table with Al Ain, Shabab Al-Ahly, and Sharjah closely following suit. The competitive nature of the league promises more exciting matches ahead as teams vie for the coveted top spots.
