U-15 Japan National Team Training Camp (2/19-2/23@Chiba) – Staff, Squad, and Schedule
The U-15 Japan National Team has announced their short-listed squad and schedule for an upcoming training camp from February 19 to February 23 in Chiba. Head Coach Reiji Hirata will lead the team alongside Assistant Coaches Yasuhiko Kimura and Yusuke Miura, GK Coach Daishi Ide, and Physical Coach Tadayuki Komine, with technical support from Mahiro Hikida.
The squad includes goalkeepers Shodai Sasaki, Kosei Oshita, and Kyoshiro Nagai. The defensive lineup features Chimeziekai Ezemuokuwe, Yu Ito, Aoi Okazaki, Keiji Ishida, Koki Kurahashi, Hinata Nishino, Haruki Sasaki, and Rikuto Soma. In midfield, Kaiji Chonan, Shu Takisawa, Sora Iwatsuchi, Taiyo Saito, Takeshi Wada, Riku Yamane, Maki Kitahara, Shunya Saeki, and Sakutaro Koeda have been selected. The forward positions will be occupied by Koki Nagasoe, Hiro Ogasawara, Narumi Takahashi, and Eito Takaki.
Unfortunately, on February 18, Rikuto Soma from FC Tokyo U-15 Musashi was sidelined due to an injury. He will be replaced by Riku Kusano from Yokohama F. Marinos Junior Youth. Additionally, on February 21, Koeda Sakutaro from Jubilo Iwata U-15 and Narumi Takahashi from Tokushima Vortis Junior Youth were ruled out due to physical conditions and injury, respectively.
The training camp aims to enhance the team’s skills and cohesion under the guidance of the coaching staff. The players will undergo rigorous training sessions to prepare for future matches and tournaments. The schedule includes a series of practice matches and drills to sharpen their tactical awareness and physical fitness.
