Al-Nassr Eyes Adrien Rabiot, Ronaldo Pushing for the Deal

Al-Nassr is reportedly preparing a €20 million-per-season contract offer for Adrien Rabiot, who has been a free agent since his Juventus contract expired in June. Despite interest from several European clubs, the French midfielder has yet to make a decision about his future.

Cristiano Ronaldo, a former teammate of Rabiot at Juventus, is eager to reunite with him at Al-Nassr and could play a key role in persuading him to join the Saudi club. However, the move faces a potential complication due to the Saudi Pro League‘s foreign player quota, which is capped at ten players per team.

Rabiot, 28, will need to consider the impact of a move to Saudi Arabia on his international career with France. However, N’Golo Kanté’s inclusion in the French squad for Euro 2024 after moving to Al-Ittihad demonstrates that playing in the Saudi Pro League does not necessarily affect a player’s national team prospects. Rabiot could follow a similar path, securing a lucrative deal while maintaining his international standing.
