Football Australia has renewed its agreement with the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) to retain the domestic broadcast rights for all AFC national team competitions from 2025 to 2028. This renewal covers the Asian Cup Saudi Arabia 2027, AFC Asian Qualifiers, the U23 Asian Cup in 2026 and 2028, and the Women’s Asian Cup 2026, which Australia will host.

The deal continues the partnership with Paramount Australia, including Network 10 and Paramount+, which has been airing these competitions since 2021. Football Australia CEO James Johnson emphasized that this agreement will boost the visibility of Australian football, allowing better control over content, improved fan access, and new revenue opportunities.

AFC General Secretary Datuk Seri Windsor John expressed confidence that this collaboration will further elevate the popularity of Asian football in Australia.
