Russian player Daniil Medvedev was eliminated from the Monte Carlo Masters after a contentious match against compatriot Karen Khachanov. Medvedev, the fourth seed, failed to find his rhythm and ultimately succumbed to a 6-3, 7-5 defeat. Despite showing some improvement in the second set, Medvedev missed a crucial opportunity to secure victory and was unable to break Khachanov’s serve.
