Former Kelantan Player Expresses Dissatisfaction Over Salary Arrears Payment Allocation
Kelantan FC Football Club Owner, Norizam Tukiman, recently addressed the issue of salary arrears within the team, stating that payments have been resolved gradually. However, former player Khairul Helmi expressed his dissatisfaction, revealing that only the first 20 players received their arrears from the club, leaving others, like himself, out of the loop.
Acknowledging that he was not among the initial beneficiaries, Khairul Helmi still expressed gratitude for whatever assistance was provided, emphasizing the importance of being thankful for what one receives. His sentiments were shared on his Facebook account, highlighting the importance of quick action in such situations.
In a gesture to mark the festive season of Aidilfitri, Norizam Tukiman issued an advance payment of RM 1,000 to each player, aiming to make amends for the 3 months’ worth of salary arrears. He explained this move on his Tiktok page, emphasizing the significance of settling such financial matters before the holiday.
Khairul Helmi, a seasoned national player with stints at Kedah and Melaka United, had recently joined Kelantan FC for the ongoing season. The team is currently competing in the M3 League, having been included in the competition by the Amateur Football League (AFL) as one of the additional 16 teams.
Despite the challenges surrounding salary payments and arrears, the team is pushing forward with their participation in the league, aiming to make their mark in the competitions ahead. As the season progresses, players and fans alike will be closely monitoring the developments within Kelantan FC, hoping for a successful campaign on the field.
