Midfielder Akram Mahinan Addresses Issue of Junior Players Helping Senior Players: Not a Serious Problem

Terengganu FC midfielder Akram Mahinan addressed the issue of junior players assisting senior players by carrying bags and washing shoes, a topic recently brought up by a former footballer who felt bullied. Akram downplayed the seriousness of this issue, stating that it is a common practice rooted in tradition. While some Twitter users disagreed with his stance, Akram clarified that juniors helping the kitman with bags is not a problem and emphasized the unity among players regardless of age.

He highlighted the camaraderie within the team, emphasizing how senior players support and care for their younger counterparts, even going as far as shopping for food together. Akram pointed out that this practice is not new and that he also experienced it when he began his football career. Despite some criticism from online users, Akram remained firm in his belief that the issue was not as negative as portrayed, citing his own experiences.

Having moved from KL City to Terengganu, Akram is gearing up for his team’s upcoming match against Perak FC at the Sultan Mizan Zainal Abidin Stadium on May 11th. As he prepares to showcase his skills to Peteh fans, Akram’s focus remains on contributing positively to his new team.
