RSL Players Representing Their Countries: March International Window Updates

As the Roshn Saudi League takes a pause for the March international break, 63 players from various clubs will represent their nations in continental and World Cup qualifiers as well as friendly matches. Saudi Arabia’s national team coach, Roberto Mancini, has selected 28 players from seven different RSL clubs for the Asian Qualifiers matches against Tajikistan.

Three European players from the league will be vying for a spot in Euro 2024 as the play-offs draw to a close. Solomon Kvirkvelia of Al Okhdood will feature for Georgia in the semi-final against Luxembourg, with the winner facing either Greece or Kazakhstan. Al Khaleej’s Ibrahim Sehic and Al Fayha’s Gojko Cimirot will represent Bosnia and Herzegovina as they take on Ukraine in the semi-final of their path.

Demarai Gray of Al Ettifaq aims to guide Jamaica in the 2024 CONCACAF Nations League, facing a tough semi-final against the United States. Marcelo Brozovic of Al Nassr will confront Al Hazem’s Aymen Dahmen in a match between Croatia and Tunisia in the FIFA Series: Egypt.

Moustapha Zeghba of Damac will feature for Algeria against Bolivia and South Africa. Portuguese national team continues to prepare for Euro 2024 with Cristiano Ronaldo, Otavio, and Ruben Neves from RSL clubs in their squad. Senegal has four players from RSL clubs called up: Edouard Mendy, Kalidou Koulibaly, Sadio Mane, and Habib Diallo.

The list of RSL players representing their countries includes Craig Goodwin (Al Wehda) for Australia, Lucas Zelaryan (Al Fateh) for Armenia, David Ospina (Al Nassr) for Colombia, and many more from different national teams. The RSL’s influence is evident across international fixtures, showcasing the talent and diversity within the league’s player pool.
