Resolving the Conflict between Zaquan Adha Abdul Radzak and Faliq Firdaus: Akram Mahinan’s Perspective and Proposal for a Solution

Terengganu FC midfielder Akram Mahinan has weighed in on the conflict between Zaquan Adha Abdul Radzak and the CEO of Negeri Sembilan FC, Faliq Firdaus, suggesting that the situation can be resolved amicably. The tension between Zaquan and Faliq arose when the striker’s inquiry about his contract status allegedly went unanswered by the CEO of the Rusa squad.

While Faliq has addressed the issue on social media, the controversy lingers on. Akram believes that a face-to-face meeting between the two parties, willing to engage in discussion, could lead to a positive resolution. He proposes a solution where Zaquan, a Negeri Sembilan native who has made significant contributions to the team, could transition into a player-coach role, similar to what Croatian coach Bojan Hodak offered veteran player Shukor Adan at KL City FC before retiring in 2021.

“In my opinion, given Zaquan’s roots in Negeri Sembilan and his significant contributions to the state, the management could consider offering him a dual role as a coach and player. I see parallels with how Bojan handled Shukor Adan’s situation towards the end of 2020,” Akram expressed on X account.

Zaquan has an impressive record with Negeri Sembilan, having secured numerous titles including the Super League, Malaysia Cup, Premier League, and FA Cup during his two stints with the team.

By suggesting a pathway that combines Zaquan’s on-field prowess with his leadership potential, Akram hints at a harmonious resolution to the ongoing feud. As the discussion unfolds, it remains to be seen whether the Negeri Sembilan FC management will consider Akram’s proposal and engage in constructive dialogue with the involved parties to pave the way for a positive outcome.
