Croatian-born Miroslav Kuljanac to be Promoted as KL City’s Head Coach

Croatian-born Miroslav Kuljanac is set to take over the reins as KL City’s Head Coach for the upcoming season, according to reports from Astro Arena journalist Zulhelmi Zainal Azam. Kuljanac, who previously served as the assistant coach, will now step into the role of permanent manager following Nenad Bacina’s sudden departure from the team.

The news of Kuljanac’s promotion comes in the wake of a double blow for KL City, as the President of the Kuala Lumpur Football Association (KLFA), Khalid Samad, has also resigned from his position. With two key figures leaving the club, Kuljanac’s appointment will be crucial in stabilizing the team ahead of the new season.

Having previously served as an interim coach last season, Kuljanac boasts an impressive record, winning both matches he oversaw against Kelantan FC and Penang FC. His experience working alongside seasoned coaches like Bojan Hodak and Bacina will undoubtedly serve KL City well as they prepare for the challenges ahead.

Despite the recent departures and changes within the club, KL City can count on the support of Minister of Communications Fahmi Fadzil, who also serves as the club’s patron. Fadzil’s commitment to ensuring that The City Boys can continue to compete in the Super League will be a source of reassurance for both the team and its fans.

As Kuljanac takes the helm as Head Coach, KL City will be looking to build on their past successes and forge a path towards further achievements in the upcoming season. With his proven track record and the backing of key stakeholders, including Fadzil, Kuljanac’s leadership promises to bring stability and success to KL City in the months ahead.
