Results of Revo Cup 2023/24 Round of 16: Former Champions Advance, 6 Teams from Thai League 1 Eliminated
In the latest Revo Cup 2023/24 round of 16 matches, six teams from Thai League 1 bid farewell, while the “former champions” Buriram United survived to move forward. The results of the games revealed their fate.
Muang Thong United emerged victorious over PT Satun FC with a 3-1 scoreline, while Port Authority FC defeated PT Prachuap FC 2-0. BG Pathum United showcased their dominance with a commanding 4-1 win against Chonburi FC. Khon Kaen United also showcased their strength by defeating Trat FC 4-1.
Singha Chiang Rai United asserted their superiority with a convincing 4-0 victory over Songkhla FC, while Ratchaburi FC narrowly edged past True Bangkok United with a 1-0 triumph. Buriram United faced a tough challenge against Uthai Thani FC, ending the match in a 2-2 draw, but eventually secured a 3-1 victory in the penalty shootout, advancing with a total score of 5-3.
Lamphun Warrior also entered the next round after a tense 2-2 draw against Sukhothai FC, eventually prevailing 3-2 in extra time. Unfortunately, the journey ended for PT Prachuap FC, Chonburi FC, True Bangkok United, Sukhothai FC, Trat FC, and Uthai Thani FC from Thai League 1.
Despite the tough competition, Buriram United, alongside Muang Thong United, Port Authority FC, BG Pathum United, Khon Kaen United, Singha Chiang Rai United, Ratchaburi FC, and Lamphun Warriors, secured their spots in the quarter-finals. The path to glory remains open for these teams as they advance towards the coveted title of the Revo Cup 2023/24.
