Al Hilal Inches Closer to Roshen League Title with Victory Over Riyadh

Al Hilal took a significant step towards reclaiming the Saudi Professional League title with a hard-fought victory over Riyadh on Friday. The thrilling 3-1 win in the 23rd round of the league propelled Al-Zaeem to the top of the Roshn League standings with 65 points, widening the gap with second-placed Al-Nasr to 12 points.

This victory brings Al Hilal closer to reclaiming the league title that they lost last season to Al-Ittihad Jeddah. With 11 matches left in the league, including a crucial face-off against Al-Nasr, the Blue Wave has the opportunity to secure the title in the coming games.

In order to officially clinch the title, Al Hilal needs to maintain their winning streak by securing 7 consecutive victories and one draw. This will ensure that they reach a total of 87 points, surpassing any possible tally that Al-Nasr could achieve if they win all their remaining games.

With the highest number of points Al-Nasr could potentially reach being 86 points, Al Hilal’s target to secure the title stands at 22 points from the remaining 11 matches. However, this required point average may decrease if Al-Nasr stumbles with any draws or losses in their upcoming fixtures.

The pressure is on for Al Hilal to maintain their winning form and edge closer to the league title. With crucial games ahead and the chance to seal their dominance in the Roshn League, Al Hilal will be looking to capitalize on their current position at the top of the table and secure their path to glory.
