Trat FC Coach “Santi Chaipuek” Disappointed with Draw Against Ratchaburi FC: Aiming for Survival in Top League

Santi Chaipuek, the coach of Trat FC, expressed his disappointment at the team’s inability to secure three points after a 2-2 draw with Ratchaburi FC at home. Despite the result, Chaipuek emphasized the significance of the single point earned for their survival in the top league.

Following the closely contested match against Ratchaburi FC in the Revo Thai League 2023/24, Trat FC managed to secure an additional point, bringing their total to 18 points and positioning them 15th in the league standings, still within the relegation zone. Coach Chaipuek acknowledged the need for improvement, particularly in avoiding late goals conceded.

Despite creating numerous scoring opportunities, Trat FC often found themselves behind due to conceding first, leading to a need for risky offensive play to level the score. Chaipuek highlighted the challenges of relying on limited forward options, particularly Felipe, who is ideally a defender but has been tasked with goal-scoring responsibilities.

Looking ahead, Chaipuek stressed the importance of securing three points in upcoming matches against similarly ranked teams to climb the standings. He emphasized the need to tighten the defense and avoid conceding early goals to give Trat FC a competitive edge in future games.

With their next match against Nakhon Pathom United scheduled at the Nakhon Pathom Municipality Sports School stadium on March 10, 2024, Trat FC aims to capitalize on the opportunity to secure a crucial victory. The live broadcast of the match will be available through AIS PLAY, True Visions, and 3BB GIGA TV.

As Trat FC prepares for their upcoming challenges, Coach Santi Chaipuek remains focused on improving their performance to achieve their goal of moving up the league rankings and securing vital points for their continued presence in the top tier of Thai football.
