Kedah Darul Aman FC Prepares for Super League Despite Salary Arrears Issue
Despite facing salary arrears, Kedah Darul Aman FC (KDA FC) is gearing up for the upcoming Super League season set to commence in May. The team, through a social media announcement by management, revealed that their preparations have reached 85%. However, any official announcements about the team are on hold until all financial issues from the 2023 season are addressed.
Last season, the club grappled with financial challenges, but the focus remains on getting the KDA FC squad ready for the 2024-2025 season. The current preparation progress stands at 85%, contingent upon resolving the outstanding financial matters from the previous season. Therefore, updates on the team and sponsorships will be delayed until after the primary issues are dealt with.
While other teams have already begun their pre-season training, Kedah is scheduled to kickstart their own preparations next week. It is worth noting that KDA FC has been given a deadline by the Malaysian Football League (MFL) to settle all salary arrears by March 5.
This update sheds light on Kedah’s determination to navigate through challenging circumstances and keep their focus on the upcoming football season. Despite the financial hurdles, the team is forging ahead with their readiness for the Super League competition, showcasing resilience and dedication as they aim to overcome obstacles and emerge stronger on the field.
