Highly Anticipated Saudi Football Classic: Al Hilal vs Al-Ittihad at The Kingdom Arena Stadium

Both teams come into this fixture on the back of victories in the previous round of Roshan’s “Foundation Round”. Al-Ittihad emerged victorious with a 2-0 win over Al-Wahda, turning their fortunes around. Similarly, Al Hilal secured their fourteenth consecutive victory in the competition with a win over Al-Faisaly.

In their previous meeting at the Radiant Jewel Stadium in Jeddah, Al Hilal emerged victorious in a thrilling 4-3 encounter. The match showcased a dramatic narrative filled with excitement and entertainment.

Unfortunately for Al Hilal, they will be without their star player Mitrovic, the second top scorer in the Roshan League, and goalkeeper Muhammad Al-Owais due to card accumulation and injury, respectively. On the other hand, Al-Ittihad will be missing Saad Al-Mousa, who received a red card in their last match.

Looking at the historical head-to-head record between the two sides in the Saudi League Championship, Al Hilal holds the edge with 47 victories compared to Al-Ittihad’s 29. There have been 28 draws in their 104 encounters.
