Register Now for the Talent-Scout (Level 1) Course in April 2024
Interested individuals can now enroll in the upcoming talent-scout (Level 1) course scheduled for April, targeting scouts, coaches, and talent evaluators in youth football. The course aims to equip attendees with the fundamentals of talent identification and scouting techniques at the academy level, emphasizing player evaluation and potential recruitment.
Scheduled for April 6th and 7th, 2024, the course spans 12 teaching hours over two days, requiring participants to engage with reading materials provided by the Football Association of Singapore (FAS) ahead of Level 1. Topics covered include defining talent, assessing performance and potential, live and video scouting methods, player reporting structures, football terminology, and adherence to scouting guidelines.
Sessions will primarily take place at the FAS headquarters, employing various teaching methods such as instructor-led presentations, group discussions, plenary debates, and practical scouting exercises. While no coaching license is mandatory, a keen interest in talent identification is essential for aspiring participants. The course fee stands at SGD349, with a limited capacity of 24 slots per session, selected based on relevant football experience.
Enrollment can be secured by scanning the provided QR code, with registration closing on March 10, 2024, or upon reaching maximum capacity.
