Indonesian U-16 National Team Coach Nova Arianto Interested in Diaspora Players

Nova Arianto, the coach of the U-16 Indonesian National Team, has shown interest in recruiting diaspora players, with the 45-year-old architect eager to explore this opportunity. He has access to a database containing 37 names of potential diaspora players, out of which only nine possess Indonesian passports.

Despite the pool of potential talent, Nova admits to not having scrutinized the players’ videos in-depth as his primary focus remains on selecting players for the U-16 Indonesian National Team. With the ongoing selection process for the third wave of the team taking place in Jakarta from 25th to 28th February 2024, Nova is currently preoccupied with assessing the 34 players in attendance.
