Al Hilal’s Mitrovic shines in win, Al Ittihad’s Hamdallah seals victory in Matchweek 20
Aleksandar Mitrovic was the star of the show as Al Hilal marked their first Roshn Saudi League match at the Kingdom Arena with a 3-1 victory over Al Raed on Sunday. Saudi Arabia winger Salem Al Dawsari set up Mitrovic for an early goal, followed by another goal from the Serbian striker from the penalty spot.
Al Hilal continued their dominance with a goal from defender Kalidou Koulibaly in the second half. Despite Al Raed pulling one back deep into stoppage time, it was too little too late as Al Hilal extended their lead at the top of the league standings.
In another game, Abderrazzaq Hamdallah’s heroics led Al Ittihad to a 2-0 win over Al Riyadh. Hamdallah scored a spectacular goal early in the match, followed by a second goal to secure the victory. Al Riyadh had their chances, including a near miss from Andre Gray and Mohammed Al Shwirekh, but were unable to find the back of the net.
Al Riyadh pushed for an equalizer late in the game, but a stunning long-range strike from Hamdallah sealed the win for Al Ittihad. The victory moved Al Ittihad closer to fourth place in the league standings, showcasing their potential as title contenders.
