Match for Hope’ Charity Football Event Aims for M EAA Support

The ‘Match for Hope’ charity football event, scheduled for February 23 at Ahmed Bin Ali Stadium, aims to raise over $1 million for Education Above All (EAA) projects in Mali, Rwanda, Tanzania, Pakistan, Palestine, and Sudan.

Project manager Qassim al-Jaidah emphasized the global unity for the love of football and sports.

The collaboration with Qatar Football Association and EAA features star-studded teams captained by social media influencers AboFlah and Chunkz.

The EAA Foundation, led by Her Highness Sheikha Moza bint Nasser, focuses on education to transform lives and aligns with Sustainable Development Goals.

Content creators’ strategic role as captains leverages their influence to support EAA’s educational endeavors.

The event, broadcasted on Al Kass, BeinSports, and YouTube, includes entertainment activities, a FIFA Qatar World Cup 2022 artwork reproduction, a concert, and a fan zone in collaboration with Katara Studio.

Abdullah al-Bakri, from EAA, emphasized the organization’s commitment to providing education opportunities, highlighting over 100 projects and 15 million beneficiaries.

The funds raised will support education initiatives in Palestine, Sudan, Mali, addressing challenges and gender gaps.

Ali al-Sulaiti, the venue manager of Ahmed Bin Ali Stadium, highlighted its history of hosting major events, including the recent FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022, underscoring its world-class standards.
