Goalkeeper Bui Tien Dung signs with HAGL: Boost to team’s defense

Hoang Anh Gia Lai Club Makes Changes to Squad Ahead of V-League Fixture

Hoang Anh Gia Lai Club recently made changes to their squad by bringing in midfielder Gabriel Dias and striker Joao Veras to replace Jhon Cley and Martin Dzilah. Cley, the former top scorer of V-League 2023 with Hanoi Police Club, was on loan to the mountain town team at the start of the season.

Following the return of Jhon Cley to CAHN, HAGL added three more players from police representatives. Goalkeeper Bui Tien Dung, midfielder Huynh Tan Tai, and midfielder Tran Quang Thinh have all joined the team on loan from CAHN, as per the registration list on the VPF website.

Goalkeeper Bui Tien Dung, known for reaching the final of U23 Asia 2018 with U23 Vietnam, is expected to bolster the team’s goalkeeper position under coach Vu Tien Thanh. Meanwhile, Huynh Tan Tai offers versatility by being able to play as a defensive midfielder, outside midfielder, and fullback. Tran Quang Thinh will enhance HAGL’s central defender options.

Hoang Anh Gia Lai’s upcoming fixture on February 27 will see them visit Khanh Hoa’s Nha Trang stadium for a match in the 11th round of V-League 2023/24. This encounter is crucial as both teams are battling to avoid relegation this season, with Khanh Hoa currently in 13th place, just one point above HAGL’s 6 points.

The additions of Gabriel Dias, Joao Veras, Bui Tien Dung, Huynh Tan Tai, and Tran Quang Thinh are expected to provide depth and quality to the Hoang Anh Gia Lai squad as they strive for success in the remaining matches of the season. Stay tuned for more updates on the team’s performance in the V-League.
